On May 29, 2022, Ernie and I gave our farewell talks in our home ward. Not only were family and friends in the audience, but many other friends and families joined us by zoom that hour. Our talks center on our greater need to minister to others by loving and serving one another. My favorite quote from my talk was quoted by David Bednar, a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He stated, "Our fundamental responsibilities are not to live the gospel so that we will be blessed, it is to live the gospel so that we can bless others". We were also blessed to bare our testimonies again and state our farewells to all that we love so dearly.
